Dr. Cox’s research into entrepreneurship has informed new venture creation and finance, and in 2024, earned him a best paper award from the US Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Cox has published 50 articles and papers, all while mentoring and advising more than 500 startups through Tech Runway and serving as the senior instructor in the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship, where he was appointed director last year. Dr. Cox is an integral part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem that the Research Park and University have built, and his work has helped the success of several entrepreneurs and companies associated with both.
