In 2016, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance was recognized with the Distinguished Organization Award for its outstanding contributions to economic development in South Florida.
Between 2007 and 2016, the Alliance played a pivotal role in creating or retaining more than 25,000 direct jobs, contributing to $2.1 billion in annual personal income and generating $11 billion in annual economic impact. Its efforts supported total employment of 55,000 jobs across Broward County.
