Dan is a serial entrepreneur: he started a small company as an undergraduate at Cornell which became Blackboard and traded on NASDAQbefore going private in 2011 in a $1.6B transaciton. A graduate of Lake Worth High, Dan then moved back home to South Florida to create new companies in the Research Park at FAU before co-founding Modernizing Medicine.

Throughout his work at Modernizing Medicine, Daniel has been a champion of the Research Park at FAU, touting its links to the FAU faculty and student body, and its ability to make invaluable connections between researchers and entrepreneurs, helping to enhance the Research Park’s reputation.
