Florida Atlantic’s College of Engineering and Computer Science is ranked as one of the top three fastest improving colleges in the United States. The College’s $20M in research grants ensured Florida Atlantic was able to ascend to the elite R1 very high research Carnegie designation last year. These significant milestones have all been achieved through Dr. Stella Batalama’s leadership as dean of the College of Engineering. Stella is a formidable dean, marshaling resources to educate students to the highest level, recruiting new graduate researchers and inspiring her faculty to research courageously.
